Session Flow for psychologists
Session Flow is a scheduling and payments app for professionals who see people by the session. For a psychologist in private practice, that means: add each patient once, with their regular time and fee, and the month fills itself in; one tap marks each session as paid, and what's left stays in view.

What changes in your week
- Each patient's standing appointment becomes a rule: every Tuesday at 3 pm, every other week, twice a week. You set it once and the sessions show up, month after month.
- Holidays, vacations and days off that you mark take the sessions off those days. When a patient travels, a pause with a start and an end does the same for them alone.
- Today's session shows the fee and a Mark as paid button. One tap and it's done. Whatever isn't paid stays open, and the app adds up, patient by patient, what's left to collect.
- A no-show stays on the record, and on the bill if that is your policy. Reschedules, extra sessions and one-off sessions fit in the calendar too.
- Charge per session or per month, and choose when payment is due: before the session, after it, or on a day of the month.
Getting paid without the chasing
On Premium, the payment reminder comes out ready for WhatsApp, with the date of each open session, the total and, if you like, your payment details at the end. You review it and send. The session reminder, with the time and the video link, is on every plan.
At the end of the month, what you received goes out as a spreadsheet for your accountant, on every plan.
Receipts and superbills
Session receipts, attendance letters and a superbill template, as PDFs, with your details — name, license number, tax ID — and the patient's. The templates come ready and can be edited and saved as your own.
Confidentiality: the data stays with you
Session Flow is not a clinical record. There are no fields for diagnoses, treatment plans or progress notes: it keeps names, contacts, times and payments. And without the cloud, everything stays on your device: we don't receive, see or store what you record.
The cloud is optional and part of Premium: turn it on and the same data appears on your phone, tablet and computer's browser.
Getting started
Add your first patient, or bring in your phone's calendar: the app reads what is there, shows who it recognizes and creates the records you confirm. If you start with initial sessions, you book them one at a time and switch to a standing appointment with one tap once you both commit.
Questions psychologists ask
Does it work for telehealth?
Yes. Each patient can have a video link (Meet, Zoom or another). The session opens the room with one tap, and the WhatsApp reminder carries the link.
My patients pay different fees. Is that a problem?
No. The fee belongs to each patient and can change on a set date. Statistics add everything up; the calendar shows each session with its own fee.
Can I see what I collected this month?
Yes: received, forecast and what's left to collect are in Statistics, by month, week or day. Insights and charts are part of the Essential and Premium plans.
Does the app store session notes?
No. It is not an EHR and has no clinical fields. It only keeps what your calendar and payments need.
